Spain and Portugal offer investors from outside the European Union a full residency permit called a Golden Visa. As its name indicates, this programme gives instant residency leading to citizenship and a passport.

The Golden Visa is a dual residency, given without having to relinquish any current citizenship or residency, you don’t even have to reside in the country. This residency also extends to your entire family (spouse, children, in-laws).
