A transparent legal system derived from English law, affords all Singaporeans equity and fairness, irrespective of their race or religion.

Singapore is exceptionally safe and consistently has one of the lowest crime rates in the world. Many cultures, races and religions live together to create a richly diverse society. English is the official language alongside Malay, Tamil & Mandarin Chinese.

The country’s education system has a reputation as one of the finest in the world (and is the highest ranked in Asia) at both high school and university levels. Its universal healthcare system is also regarded as world-class, making Singapore the ideal place to live, work and enjoy.

Singapore also operates a very favorable tax regime, which also applies to foreign investors who can enjoy many benefits in their favour, further making the country an attractive option in which to make an investment.

The Singapore Global Investor Program provides an opportunity for individuals to invest in a pre-approved fund, in a start-up, or existing business looking to expand.

Permanent Residence
You can easily become a Permanent Resident in Singapore by applying for the GIP (Global Investor Program). The first step is the submission of a personal profile via both electronic and hard copy form. An interview will follow (usually 2 to 4 months later) and provided that all criteria are met, an approval in principle will be issued. A 6-month period will be then allowed for investors to choose the most suitable investment option and to summit the relevant proof and documentation.
Once a final approval letter has been issued, the applicant is required to formalize their Permanent Residence (PR) status within 12 months.
Investment Options
-
Type A: An investment of at least SGD2.5 million in a new business entity or expansion of an existing business operation
-
